Marco Accordo, DC is a native of Western New York. He began his educational career at McQuaid Jesuit High School where he wrestled and graduated with honors. From there he went on to coach high school wrestling while attending Monroe Community College in pursuit of a degree in Biology.
Dr. Accordo transferred to SUNY Geneseo and enlisted with the NYS Army National Guard as a combat medic. After returning from basic training and medic school, Dr. Accordo finished his career at SUNY Geneseo and was accepted to New York Chiropractic. Toward the end of his time in chiropractic school he was honorably discharged from the Guard and was able to once again coach wrestling, this time at the modified level.
Dr. Accordo graduated from New York Chiropractic in August of 2013. He and his wife, Courtney, moved to the Virginia Beach area shortly thereafter, where their family quickly doubled in size. Dr. Accordo and his wife are the proud parents of identical twin sons, Nico and Ari. Dr. Accordo has many interests – among them are rock climbing, motorcycle riding, and shooting sports. Most of all, he is honored to serve the Chesapeake community with his skills and passion.

Courtney Yaskow, our licensed acupuncturist performs acupuncture therapy in our Chesapeake office. Acupuncture can be effective in treating illnesses, injuries, chronic pain, addictions, anxiety, insomnia, digestive problems, menstrual cramps, weight control, infertility and much, much more.
We often use acupuncture as an adjunct therapy to our comprehensive menu of chiropractic services. The proof of acupuncture’s effectiveness is in its longevity as the earliest written record of acupuncture dates back to 200 BCE.
Courtney is married to Dr. Marco Accordo and together they are excited to bring wellness to the residents of Chesapeake and the surrounding areas.
Meet Our Certified Massage Therapist
Vicky Collins, Certified Massage Therapist, is a native from South Louisiana. Growing up as an athlete, she was a competitive gymnast and also enjoyed running and biking. As a young adult, Vicky continued to be fascinated with the human anatomy and how the skeletal and muscular systems all worked together. In 2002, She earned her Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a concentration in Biology. After marrying her husband Daniel and having their daughters, Jillian and Ella, Vicky decided to pursue a career in massage therapy.
In 2011, she graduated from the Academy for Massage Therapy Training in San Antonio, Texas. Vicky specializes in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. She has a strong passion to help people reach a higher quality of life and the best physical function possible.
Meet Our Office Receptionist Deena Hoffmann
Deena Hoffmann is a native of Southwest Iowa. She moved to the Hampton Roads area in 2005. After moving to the area, she obtained her Montessori teaching certification and started teaching for a local Montessori school where she was quickly promoted to lead teacher. Deena then got involved with caring for a little boy with cerebral palsy. Through working with his family, she learned a lot about natural healing and chiropractic care.
Her lifestyle and fitness hobbies improved dramatically because of chiropractic’s many health benefits. She will now forever be a lifetime believer.
She is very excited to work with Dr. Marco in educating and healing the Chesapeake community through chiropractic care.
